Powerful, efficient two-row harvesting

The ROPA Kartoffelmaus 5 is a self-propelled potato loader designed to improve the efficiency of starch potato handling and logistics.

Developed from ROPA’s proven Maus technology, it combines an 8 m wide pickup system, intensive cleaning and a truck conveyor with up to 15 m overloading width for fast, efficient loading directly from field piles.

Designed for efficient potato loading, the ROPA Kartoffelmaus 5 gently lifts, cleans and transfers potatoes from field piles directly into transport vehicles.

Its wide pickup system, adjustable cleaning intensity and high-capacity loading system help reduce handling requirements while effectively removing soil, haulm and unsuitable tubers before loading.

8 M PICKUP SYSTEM

An 8-metre wide pickup system uses pickup fingers working to a depth of up to 5 cm to gently lift potatoes from the pile.

INTENSIVE CLEANING

Eight cleaning rollers in the pickup system and a further 10 conveyor rollers help remove soil, weeds and haulm before the crop reaches the truck conveyor.

UP TO 15 M OVERLOADING WIDTH

The truck conveyor provides an overloading width of up to 15 metres, allowing flexible positioning of transport vehicles during loading.

R-CONCEPT OPERATION

A 12.1-inch touch screen provides clear control of the machine, including cleaning intensity, operating information and performance data.

HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE R-CAB

The height-adjustable R-Cab provides excellent all-round visibility, comfortable operation and a clear view of the loading process.

INTEGRATED WEIGHING

An optional continuous weighing system with automatic zeroing helps optimise vehicle loading and avoid exceeding legal weight limits.

354 HP ENGINE

A 260 kW / 354 hp Mercedes-Benz engine provides the power required for high-throughput loading while operating at reduced engine speed during normal loading.
